To be eligible to participate in the program and receive reimbursement for Shop & Dine Lancaster gift cards, each business must opt-in to the program by either returning a completed opt-in form to Lancaster City Hall or by signing up online at www.shoplancaster.org no later than March 31, 2009.

Your signature on the opt-in form or acknowledgement of its online facsimile will be considered acceptance of the program rules, terms and conditions. Acceptance is required for participation.

Only businesses listed on the official Participating Business List will have their redemption requests honored. If your business name does not appear on the Participating Business List within one week of submitting your name, please contact Lancaster Economic Development/ Redevelopment (LEDR) at 661-723-6196 to verify that your opt-in form has been received and processed.

Participating businesses must hold a current and valid Business License from the City of Lancaster and be in good standing with the City in order to participate and receive reimbursement for gift cards. Businesses must complete a Gift Card Redemption Form (available online at www.shoplancaster.org or from the Finance Department at City Hall) and submit one with each group of cards submitted for redemption. Please treat all cards as you would cash. The City shall not be responsible for any cards lost or delayed in transit.

All payments will be made via City check within 30 days of receipt of the valid redemption form and cards. Checks will be mailed in the name of the participating business to the registered address on file. The City will not be held responsible for any payments lost or delayed in transit.

All cards and redemption forms must be submitted to the City’s Finance Department no later than November 16, 2009. Cards received after that date will be considered void and without cash value.
